[Drive a historic car that won the traditional endurance race]
The traditional 24-hour endurance race "Le Mans" is held in France every June. This electric radio-controlled car assembly kit reproduces the Mazda 787B, the machine that won the overall victory of the first Japanese car in the 1991 race. The hard, wide and smooth body unique to Group C cars, which pursues aerodynamics, is realistically reproduced in polycarbonate. The rear wing and lights are separate carbonate parts to tighten the details. In addition, the coloring with a strong presence is painted green and orange, and the characteristic white dashed lines and many sponsor logo stickers are attached to the polycarbonate finish.
[Direct drive 2WD chassis that creates a sharp ride]
The chassis is a composite type that combines an ABS resin cushion frame as the main body, a resin space frame at the front and rear, and an FRP plate on the underside. The highly rigid frame structure helps the suspension to move flexibly, maintaining sharp driving performance. The front suspension is a 3P type with independent kingpin coil springs, and the rear suspension is a 1.5mm thick FRP T-bar controlled by a CVA oil damper. The front height can be adjusted in two stages and the rear height can be adjusted in three stages to suit the road surface and tire wear. In addition, it uses a direct drive 2WD that transmits motor power directly to the spur gear. It is also equipped with a ball differential that operates smoothly and has a limited slip effect. Combined with the aerodynamic body, it provides plenty of sharp driving performance.
